Welcome to Anderson Community Church!
We are glad you are here. This is simply to help you understand who we are, what we believe, what it means to be a member, and how we walk together as a church family. Our goal is to follow Jesus, grow together, and serve our community in His name.
Anderson Community Church exists to glorify God, build strong believers, and make disciples who live out the truth of His Word and impact our community through the power of Christ.

1. Who We Are: A Non-Denominational Church Led by Christ.
- We are a non-denominational church. That simply means we are not part of a big denomination or controlled by any outside organization. We are led by the Pastor & leadership under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the truth of God’s Word. We get direction from the Church members. God is the head of this church.
- “And he is the head of the body, the church…” Colossians 1:18 (NIV)
- “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.” (2 Timothy 3:16 (NIV))

2. What We Believe the Bible Is Our Foundation
Here are the core beliefs we stand on:
- We believe in one God-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; Deuteronomy 6:4)
- We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died and rose for our salvation. (John 3:16; John 1:1,14)
- We believe the Bible is God’s inspired Word and the truth. (2 Timothy 3:16–17)
- We believe salvation is a gift of grace, received through faith not by works. (Ephesians 2:8–9)

3. Salvation & Baptism:Being The Starting Point
- Becoming a member starts with knowing Jesus personally. Salvation comes through trusting in what Jesus did on the cross and His resurrection. After we are saved, we follow up in baptism as a public declaration of our faith.
- “Those who accepted his message were baptized…” – Acts 2:41 (NIV)
- “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith…” – Ephesians 2:8 (NIV)
- “…no one will snatch them out of my hand.” – John 10:28 (NIV)

4. What Membership Means Being Part of the Family
Membership is not just about joining a church; it is about belonging to a spiritual family. As members, we commit to:
- Attending regularly and growing together in worship (Hebrews 10:25)
- Growing spiritually through prayer and Scripture
- Serving with the gifts God gives us (1 Peter 4:10)
- Giving as God leads, with a cheerful heart (2 Corinthians 9:7)
- Walking in love and unity with one another (John 13:34–35)

5. How We Lead guided with Accountability and Care
- Our church is led by a Pastor and supported by a leadership team/board. We take leadership seriously and believe leaders should be humble, accountable, and faithful to God’s Word. Also follow Anderson Community Church’s beliefs.
- “Not many of you should become teachers… because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.” – James 3:1 (NIV)
- “Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care… being examples to the flock.” – 1 Peter 5:2–3 (NIV)
- “Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority…” – Hebrews 13:17 (NIV)
- We ask members to pray for their leaders and help us move forward together in unity.
